January favors the small shifts. Not the kind that requires clearing everything out or starting from scratch, just quiet adjustments that make a space feel clearer while still holding what you need. This is a time when intention shows up in how everyday objects are both gathered and lived with thoughtfully.
As we look ahead to 2026, one thing feels abundantly clear: we are craving less noise and more meaning. Our home is meant to be a space that encourages presence, individuality and a slow, intentional way of living.
December shows up cold (even in California, okay?!) and instead of fighting it, were here to adapt. It’s the month of practical warmth done well, where even getting dressed takes a little more thought.
November settles in, softening the edges of daily life and inviting a quieter way of moving about. The days shorten, the light mellows, and everything feels a little more intimate. Conversations linger, dinners stretch long after the plates are cleared and the familiar presence of loved ones becomes its own kind of grounding.
October pulls us inward as the air gets crispier, our palette deepens and instinctively we begin to reach for weightier objects. Think wool that carries structure, rich leather that’s softened over time, that perfect boot that feels broken-in yet poised. Getting dressed this month feels like a fresh new ritual.
To mark the occasion, we sat down with our founder Brittany to reflect on the beginnings, turning points and new perspectives that can come only with time and experience.
September slows the edges of summer. The air sharpens in the mornings, the light softens by evening, and suddenly the textures around us start to matter even more. One of our most coveted moments of fall? Swapping out our wardrobe for pieces that give us a reset. There’s an energy in changing things out, especially shoes.
July calls for ease. Our hair has found its summer shape, we’ve stopped asking what day it is and our morning routine is down to five minutes. Bronzer, brows—check. Red feels good right now: cheeks, nails, maybe a glazed lip that’s playful and confident.
