AUGUST NOTES

AUGUST NOTES

One week you’re barefoot with sand in your toes, the next you’re thinking about your calendar again. School starts for the kids, but the shift isn’t just theirs—everyone seems to trade a little of the summer haze for a sharper focus. Emails get answered. Mornings start earlier. But along with the productivity comes a pull toward comfort—coffee refills, early sunsets, a sweater always within reach.

This season our bag is getting an upgrade, too. Think grown-up backpack—polished, structured, and suspiciously good at fitting your whole day inside. Our must haves? A cute laptop case, plaid hair scrunchies and claw clips, a pair of blue light glasses that double as an outfit finisher, a notebook that’s far too pretty to use for grocery lists, at least 3 lip balms, and a snack we don’t plan on sharing.

When it comes to our wardrobe we can’t get enough of the preppy-professor vibes that work enduringly well every fall. Right now we’re into collars peeking out, loafers clicking on pavement, sleeves pushed up just enough to make it look effortless. Summer might still be hanging around, but the tone is shifting. We’re ready to get back to routine, just not ready to give up the late-afternoon Aperol quite yet.
