SEPTEMBER NOTES

SEPTEMBER NOTES

September slows the edges of summer. The air sharpens in the mornings, the light softens by evening, and suddenly the textures around us start to matter even more. One of our most coveted moments of fall? Swapping out our wardrobe for pieces that give us a reset. There’s an energy in changing things out, especially shoes. Flip flops get replaced by clogs, woven ballet flats carry us through lingering warm days, and boots are waiting like a reward. We’re excited about what’s ahead: darker denim that feels more polished, layers that are intentional and materials that boast a rich hand-feel worth swooning over.

We’re leaning into autumn’s palette—espresso brown, nutmeg, dusty blues—anchored by materials that hold form. Satin and lace stay on as underlayers, adding quiet contrast beneath knits and choice outerwear. Fall settles in with sweaters stacked high, a suede tote that carries its weight, and evenings fueled by the glow of candlelight.

Our whole home reflects the same rhythm as our closets. Throws migrate from the closet to the sofa, candles burn earlier in the evening, and comfort becomes tactile—wool, suede and leather grounding the space. September is about recalibrating, layering in pieces that carry us forward and finding joy in the small act of putting things away to make room for what’s next.
