December shows up cold (even in California, okay?!) and instead of fighting it, were here to adapt. It’s the month of practical warmth done well, where even getting dressed takes a little more thought. There’s confidence in knowing how to layer, when to stay in, and how to make the ordinary feel cozier without overthinking it.
DECEMBER NOTES
In our homes, comfort becomes functional. Faux fur and sherpa add softness where you actually need it and throws always within an arm’s reach. We like to keep the lighting low, with candles flickering and fireplace on, to create a relaxing winter vibe inside. Little luxuries earn their place: cashmere socks that make cold floors bearable, heavier blankets that stay out, sturdy ceramics that keep drinks warm longer. Nows the time to forge spaces that work harder for you during the coldest stretch of the year.
Our winter dressing follows the same logic. Layers are chosen for warmth first, style second, and somehow that’s what makes them feel right. Shearling, cashmere and soft linings make everything cozier. December style is about being warm without feeling bulky and comfortable without looking careless. It’s everyday living, just done with better materials and fewer compromises. ’Tis the season of staying warm!
