Brittany is a California based Designer, Curator, and Blogger with an expertise in vintages rugs and textiles. Born into an artistic family—her mother a crafter and a florist, and her grandmother a painter—art and design have been part of her life for as long as she can remember.
Brittany’s creative career was launched over a decade ago in jewelry design, which she sold through different retailers throughout California. While climbing the ranks in the corporate world, Brittany decided to return to her creative roots by launching her blog in 2010; a creative outlet and an editorial destination for all things design. Since then, the site has evolved to include a carefully curated vintage rug and textile shop and a 360-degree, full-service, boutique interior design studio.
A rug is the aesthetic anchor of any space and finding the right one can be a challenge, especially if you’re looking for something unique. As a designer and textile expert, one of Brittany’s greatest joys in life is hunting down the most beautiful pieces she can find from flea markets, trunk shows, and antique vendors. This shop is where she curates those items and makes them available to you. You’ll find one-of-a-kind textiles from throw pillows to blankets, and of course, beautiful, vintage rugs personally sourced by Brittany from all over the west coast and beyond.
The Design Studio
Brittany’s unique blend of creative and practical make her the perfect partner for anyone seeking an expert in interior design with a knack for organization and finding one-of-a-kind pieces. She really enjoys helping her clients feel more at home.
Her “California Cool” aesthetic combines classic comfort with clean lines, white tones, and a purposefully collected feel—with every interior made unique by each client’s individual vision. Brittany works with clients on a national level, helping them create their own dream spaces that reflect their style, personality, and taste.
The blog is Brittany’s creative outlet and an editorial destination for anyone interested in DIY, ‘how-to’s”, home decor, arts, crafts, and design inspiration. The blog is where she highlights projects, shares personal stories and advice, and collaborates with other experts and brands in the industry. You’ll also find photos of her kids (puppies included), she can’t help it.
