Woven in the small village of Lavar just north of the city of Kerman, the style found in this region is unique and is best known for the impeccable construction & voluminous floral patterns. These floral patterns are often kaleidoscopic and were produced in a variety of impressive colors. These rugs are coveted for their tight knots and diverse range of colors, and most of all, are impeccably crafted and were made to last many lifetimes.

Cleaning: Vacuum on occasion, with hardwood floor setting. Spot clean with mild detergent and water, never use a carpet cleaner machine to clean a vintage rug. If your rug needs a thorough clean, take it to a professional.

Storing: Always roll rugs when stored. Vacuum on occasion, with suction only (no bristles!)
