Bodia Vase XV
Dana Chieco Studio
Each one unique, our Bodia Vase is made by artisan hands using wheel-thrown clay. Boasting a unique speckled pattern atop a warm grey-blue glaze, this piece beautifully melds traditional craft with modern aesthetics. Each organic curve and subtle variation in form makes it not just a vessel for your favorite flowers, but a unique piece of art. Crafted from durable stoneware, it serves as a lasting testament to the timeless beauty of heirloom pottery, bringing an artisanal touch to any space.
Following two decades of intense career dedication, Dana Chieco initiated a transformative journey in 2018, venturing into Europe with nothing but a backpack and a zest for life. The experiences, ranging from sauntering through Puglia's ancient olive groves to learning painting on a Greek Island, ushered in a profound change, leading to the rekindling of a childhood passion for art. Upon returning to Los Angeles, Dana established a pottery business in 2022, fascinated by the alchemy of transforming clay into lasting vessels. With a diverse background in various sectors and academic achievements from Cornell University and the University of Virginia, each piece Dana crafts is a testament to the uniqueness of handcrafted objects, aiming to add a touch of homeliness to your cherished spaces.
